"April 10th 2009, exactly the same date, we stepped foot into Taylor's College School of Hospitality and Tourism in Leisure Commerce Square as DH 27, two years ago."
Well that's a little introduction for April 10th, and so basically, I've kinda placed it as a date of our reunion for the future. As for 2009, I guess it was considered a really last minute pull off kinda thing, as;- Not many people remembered
- Not many people know about it
- Not many people were free today
- Not many people know about it
- Not many people were free today
So in conclusion, Not many people turned up. Anyways it was still quite fun even though the group was really small. Trust me, REALLY SMALL. So with the midget group, we decided to catch a movie.
Actual Plan
Movie: He's Just Not That Into You
Time: 8:30 PM screening
Location: Sunway Pyramid
Movie: He's Just Not That Into You
Time: 8:30 PM screening
Location: Sunway Pyramid
****
As usual, "What Actually Happened"
Movie & Location: Same
Time: 11:20 PM
Movie & Location: Same
Time: 11:20 PM
It turns out that,
"Pyramid + Friday Nights = No Parking"
So by the time, we actually arrived to the cinema was already 8:25 PM. Along with that long queue, there was no way that we would actually manage to get into the theaters in time. During the short moment of dilemma, of "Don't know whether to watch the 11:20 one, or some other movie", and due to my own selfish-ness, I, myself, decided for everyone on the 11:20 screening (I really wanted to watch that movie). And so with my selfish act, we ended up with 3 hours to kill. Those 3 hours ended up a little lame and boring (sorry guys...). Most importantly, DDR, as Russel Peter said, is one of the hardest shit I've ever tried in my life. I guess the hard part comes, as our "Leg-Eye Coordination" is not as good as our "Hand-Eye Coordination". Even with that said, I WANT TO TRY DDR AGAIN!!!!!
Apart from that Nana, got her tickets to David Archuleta' s showcase in Sunway Lagoon. You guys should have seen the moment she got her hands on those ticket, it was like she just lost her virginity. Other than that, we were able to catch some parts (mostly the ending) of Fast & Furious 4, at a mamak.
Finally came the movie, "He's Just Not That Into You"
Starring: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Ginnifer Goodwin, Scarlett Johansson, Justin Long Running Time: 130 minutes Short Summary:
He's Just not that into you, is an adaption from the self help book of the same title. The story is about 9 individuals with their views and angles of their love life, and each of them have a slightly different story to tell. These individuals are all connected through a circle (and all of them are like miraculously related to one another). -Trying to be spoiler FREE
Verdict:
I would personally rate this "Chick-flick" romantic comedy, with an all star cast, a 5 out of 5. One of my most favorite movie so far. The most interesting part about this movie, is that you are not just looking at 1 love story, but 4. All with their own special "exceptions". Kinda like the positive version of the Korean movie, "Sad Movie". Quite good funny scenes, and some great quotes.
“We are all programmed to believe that if a guy acts like a total jerk that means he likes you.”
Conclusion:
This show is a must watch, especially for girls of all ages, and single people. But it tends to get a little predictable, after half way through the movie (5 Women, and 4 Guys). Anyways, I'll be getting the DVD as soon as it is out.
So that was all for the movie. Sorry guys, if I kinda dragged you guys into watching the late movie with me. Well it was much appreciated, hope you guys enjoyed the movie as much as I did.
I guess that's all for now. So tune in for future posts.
